Hi everyone! We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop.

Sammy is thankful to be coneless. And I am thankful that his biopsy came back and his nose is fine. It was called an unspecified inflammation ( probably from too many whaps from the other kitties).

I am also thankful that I got accepted into The Cat Writers’ Association. Special thanks toLola and Lexy’s mom, Dawn for sponsoring me.

And here is my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day based on this photo:

I wonder who lives here?
I am sure it is no one to fear.
Maybe it is the Grinch’s summer home
or maybe it belongs to a gnome.
I know it is not mine
and with that, I am fine.

  5. We agree that living on the side of a mountain a mile in the air might just not be the BEST location in many ways but it sure is pretty!!! We were SO HAPPY to hear Sammy’s nose is OK – we love good news! Concatulations on becoming a member of CWA. BIG KUDOS!

    I am very glad that Sammy’s biopsy result was good.
    I like your poem. That place is nice to look at, but not for me either.

  22. I too am fine, with that house not being mine! Too high, too steep…just NOPE! Concats on the CWA! And tell Sammy that if there is a slight scar on his nose, it just gives him street cred, and we all know how the ladies like a bad boy!

I have a goal to join it, but I kind of keep chickening out. And, of course, I greatly enjoyed your poem. I love the idea that the Grinch would live somewhere like that in the summer. So clever!
