- Baggage: Tales from a Fully Packed Life by Alan Cumming is the author’s second memoir. I enjoyed the first and although I am only a few chapters into this one, I like it.
- Bomb Shelter: Love, Time and Other Explosives by Mary Laura Philpott is a memoir composed of several essays. It does center around something that happens to her son that changes her world.
- Dillie the Deer: A True Story of Love, Healing and Family by Melanie Butera came out in 2014 and I have no idea why it took me so long to read it. It is a very sweet story, and I am only a few chapters in, but it didn’t make me cry which is always a plus.
Penny may be posting tomorrow, if not, Rosie has been taking notes on the family gossip.
