Joanie is posing with I Left my Homework In The Hamptons : What I Learned Teaching The Children of the One Percent by Blythe Grossberg. This one caught my attention because I was a tutor for the high school in my town from 1993-2007. The kids I worked with were not rich, they were usually home because they were in trouble or the other kind of in trouble ( pregnant).
This book is interesting and a peak into a world I know nothing about. She writes of kids making dioramas out of Manolo Blahnik boxes and leaving homework at their other house in The Hamptons.
Rosie is posing with Indoor Cat: How to Enrich Their Lives and Expand Their World by Laura J Moss and Lynn Bahr, DVM. A lot of information in the book is stuff most cat lovers already know, but it was still worth reading. It shows how we think vs. how a cat thinks and explains ways to improve their lives. There are directions to make a window box for $35 and other ways to bring the outdoors in. I recommend this for anyone who wants to make life better for their kitty.
Not sure if Rosie or Penny will be here tomorrow. Penny might be tired from her visit to Teddy’s kitchen. Whoever is here will update you in Emmy who is getting a blood pressure check in the morning.
