Hi everyone! We are joining Athena’s Caturday Art Blog Hop and Rascal and Rocco’s Pet Parade.

My niece and The Great One made me cupcakes for my birthday so I used them for my art. I used ribbet to make the photo into a polaroid.

Who Wore it Best?

  1. I am so sorry that we missed your birthday, Ellen! I remember telling David the date so that we’d remember, then things got all wonky around here. I’m sorry. I hope that you had a wonderfully fun birthday. I bet those cupcakes were delicious. 🙂

I like the Polaroid look. I had a Polaroid camera when David and I were dating. He practically had to take out a mortgage to keep me in film. He’d bring me the film cartridges, and I’ve have them all shot before we got out of the driveway to go on our date. haha

    Have a blessed weekend. 🙂

    1. NO worries, I know you have a lot going on. The cupcakes were yummy, we had birthday cake ice cream with them too. That is funny about using your film up so quickly. XO

      1. I’m glad that you had a great birthday. 🙂

I was a master at using up that film. Maggie has a little bit more self-control in that department than I do. We’ll see how long that lasts. haha

        Have a blessed night. 🙂

  2. I think that dress looks best on… wait, where did you get it? I want it! It’s really cute.

Oh, and I think both you girls rocked it. Just like I would.

    1. You would rock it the best. I bought it on ebay from a company in China, it was around $4 including shipping. I am surprised it is so nice.

  3. Ohhhh cupcakes! Mom loves cupcakes. And the dress…. Ha! Not tricking us with that one. Mom will say that the colors probably suited Miss Trouble best, but
both ladies made it look very stylish.

    1. Trouble thanks you. I agree, it does work on her better, but don’t tell Joanie.

  4. Lucky you to have such beautiful cupcakes for your birthday! As for that cute dress – I think both Trouble and Joanie look equally wonderful in that cute dress – purrrhaps you need to get another one so they can both have one and not have to share???

    Hugs, Teddy

  5. Awww, I love your Birthday Cupcakes! Super special because they were made by your niece and The Great One! They make great art. They wouldn’t have lasted long enough at our house to take a picture of them!
Joanie and Trouble both look very festive in the dress…hard decision but I have to give the nod to Trouble! No, Joanie… Trouble! I don’t knoooooooooowww… I think they both wear it very well and with a feline flair!

    1. Thank you. Yes, they were very special. Joanie and Trouble both thank you. XO

  6. We think they both look terrific in the dress. Those cupcakes sure look yummy. You all have a fine day.

  7. Those cupcakes are beautiful! Have never seen frosting that color. We always prefer cupcakes on birthdays. (Can’t get past the idea that blowing out candles has the potential to blow on germs.)

    1. Thank you. I let The Great One help me blow out the candle, she wasn’t sick 🙂

  8. May we have a cupcake, please?
As for the dress, we have to say Joanie since she is Mommy’s namesake. Both ladies are rockin’ it though.
    Have a great weekend!

    1. Sure, there are 2 left 🙂 Joanie thanks you 🙂 We hope you have a great weekend too. XO

  9. Those cupcakes looks so delicious! What a lovely treat. And both look beautiful in the outfit but I am leaning a bit more toward Trouble.

  10. Both of them look beautiful, of course, and again i wish you many happy returns of the day and lots of cupcakes.

    1. Joanie and Trouble thank you. 🙂 The cupcakes were pretty, but I ate them anyway.

  11. I think both your beauties rocked that dress. So cute! And thank you for the kind words on my blog. The brothers of Palaye Royale are super sweet and upbeat. I actually cried myself to sleep last night listening to their beautiful music! Even Dad didn’t do that to me. ~shakes head~ I’m hoping they get past this. Have a blessed day!

    1. Joanie and Trouble thank you. I hope they get past it too, it sounds like they could have a long career if they keep going. I hope you had a blessed day too.

  12. I took one of the cupcakes. It went very well with my morning coffee.

Joanie and Trouble both look smashing in that outfit.

Have a purrfect Caturday. My best to your peeps. ♥

  13. Happy Birthday – the cupcakes look delicious, and that Polaroid look is very nice.

Red and black go so nicely together that we think maybe Trouble edged Joanie by a tiny bit:)

  14. Hey, hope you are enjoying the start to your weekend. Those cupcakes look delicious and now we are going to the store to get some. We can’t pick a favorite between Joanie and Trouble. They both wore it perfectly. Thanks for the share. Have a great weekend.

  15. Happy Birthday, Ellen! I think all the adorable outfits your cats are modeling are perfect for the occasion. ?❤

  16. How sweet of your niece and the Great One to make such cute cupcakes for you 🙂 They look yummy and make great art, too!

  17. I think the red white and blue are not Trouble’s colours. Joanie carries the style better. Better Take Trouble to a fashion designer for a new outfit!

  18. Cuppycakess Aunty???? They look so-o good!
Joanie mee finkss yur thee cutest inn thee dress. LadyMum sayss Trouble iss. So you BOTH win! Mew mew mew……

    1. The cupcakes were really good and we had birthday cake ice cram with them too. Joanie and Trouble thank you both 🙂 XO

  19. Whoa! Is blue your fave color? Those look good. No knock on Joannie but Trouble makes the dress. Those black furz are gorgeous.

  20. If those cupcakes were even half as yummy as they were pretty, then they must have been a perfect birthday treat. Oh, and if you ask us, it’s a tie between Joanie and Trouble. They’re both just such purrfect models!

    1. THe cupcakes were so good. And Trouble and Joanie thank you for your diplomacy. XO

  21. Happy Birthday! I hope you had a great day. Those cupcakes look yummy.

I think Joanie wore it best. She looks like she’s contemplating something. Maybe she’s very aware of that she’s wearing a costume dress.
