Phoebe’s 3 T’s

Hi everyone! I spent the day with Grammie on Wednesday! I love her so very much. And she makes the rounds to hand out treats every 2 hours.  100_9758

My three t’s today are for PepiSmartDog’s Thankful Thursday, P.S.Annie’s Throwback Thursday and Sammy’s Poetry Day featuring the letter T.

I am thankful that I got to spend time with my Grammie. Thankful Thursday Blog Hop

Here is my Throwback photo:blog3  One year, I was Rapunzel for Halloween.

Throwback Thursday

Now for my poem for Sammy’s Poetry Day:

TREATS!
I have been known to tell a fib
and cry like a baby in a crib
I can’t help myself
I will even climb on a shelf
Don’t worry , I am always sweet
just give me a treat(s)!!!!!

POETRYSAMBADGE

The word for today’s #JHC is graveyard, we don’t have a photo of that so I will show you a cool bottle that Mom and Dad found when cleaning out the barn years ago:

100_9689  It is embalming fluid-creepy!

And here are the fill-ins for Friday. Mom came up with the first 2 and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second 2:

1. The first thing I check when I go online is __________________________.

2. My signature dish is _____________________.

3. My Halloween night is usually                                      .

4. Trick or treaters                                  .

  1. I would love to be a Picker, like on American Pickers. Can you imagine finding things like that bottle, all the time? And other interesting oddities? Cool bottle and perfect decoration!

Yea for Grammie. I had trouble leaving the comment for her birthday. I wish her the very best year yet! ❤

    • Sorry you had trouble commenting for Grammie’s b’day, we will let her know you wished her one. That would be fun to get to find old things all the time. XO

  2. Great “T” poem for the day – I didn’t even THINK of TREATS as my “T” poem subject – darn! That embalming fluid is a creepy thing to find in your barn….EEEEK!

    Hugs, Sammy

  3. We love all 3 of your Ts! And what an intriguing thing to find out in your barn, that bottle of embalming fluid. It sure makes you wonder how it got there (or maybe we don’t want to know?). We can’t wait to participate in the fill-ins tomorrow! We’ll see you then! Purrs!

    • Thank you, glad you like the 3 t’s. We think it was something my hubby’s father used to stuff something he had hunted-ick.

    • Not too odd, my hubby’s Dad was a hunter and probably used it for stuffing something for his camp many, many years ago- 1960’s or 70’s.

  5. Phoebe, you certainly have your grammie well trained. Treats were the purrfect “T’ word for you to write about in a poem. Embalming fluid in the barn! That is super creepy! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Thank you, I am glad you like my poem. Dad’s Dad used to hunt and must have used it to embalm critters for his camp- still icky though.
