Happy Friday everyone! First off, Phoebe has something to tell everyone. I am so embarassed- and very sorry. I thought CK was giving me a boyfriend, but she was just going to let me” borrow” him to go to a dance. I am very sorry for all the drama and confusion. Hope everyone still likes me. Now back to Mom and Lucy:
Today Lucy and I are not recommending a book, but we have a newsletter to recommend. We are fortunate to live less than an hour from Cummings School of Vet Medicine, part of Tufts University. They publish a monthly newletter with many articles on new discoveries in feline health and behavior. I used to subscribe and found it very informative. Then I was mad at Tufts because my beloved KaChoo died there in 2010 so I didn’t reorder the newsletter.
My kitty was sick and wasn’t going to make it so I can’t blame them. They did convince me to spend $6,000 on testing though. I would like to think they were trying their best to help and not trying to raise money for the school. Overall, it is a great resource that is open 24/7, one just needs to be reasonable when it comes to testing. I think I figured the more I spent, I would save KaChoo. I didn’t want to face what I knew in my heart and I am sure many people do the same.
I am getting 10 issues for $20 which seems fair for some detailed articles about health. I plan to share the imformation I get, but if you are interested in getting it yourself, here is the link: http://vet.tufts.edu/publications/catnip.html.
Have a nice day!
