Selfie Sunday

Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on my Head’s Sunday Selfies Blog Hop

Some of you have asked about Gremmie. Him is good. I is dealing with a new kind of gremlin now.

Does anyone have a place I can hide on Thursday mornings? At least she gives me treats.

Mrs Potato Head is having some relatives over for dinner- Grammie is bringing potato salad. Maybe we won’t tell Mrs. Potato Head.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Joanie has a pet cow. Be sure to stop by tomorrow so she can tell you how it can visit you- and why you would want it to.

Happy Mother’s Day to my wonderful Mom! And Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there- doesn’t matter if your children have 2 or 4 legs ( or even 3).

Trouble’s First Selfie

Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on my Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop. This is my first selfie, I am wearing the hat my mom crocheted for me. I think it is a little plain, it needs a bow or something- don’t you agree?

I also get to announce the 2 winners of our A-Z Challenge giveaway. And the winners are- Marvelous Marv and Valentine (Noir Kitty News).

Happy Birthday Allie

Prancie and Gremmie are here to wish our friend Allie of The Florida Furkids a Happy 16th Birthday! Her husband, Mau of The Cat on My Head, is having a commentathon for her. They will donate $1 for each comment on both blogs to the shelter of her choice. SO be sure to visit and comment on both blogs.:)

One more thing, tomorrow is the last day of The A-Z Blogging Challenge. What do you think my Z creation is? (Hint: something from The Nightmare Before Christmas Movie).

Trouble

Look at this adorable face and such big eyes. This is our guest, sequestered to a bathroom, but I  already want to keep her.

Saturday morning I got a call from my Dr.’s office, it was the secretary that I had worked with in 2016 to TNR several cats. Last week , when I got my allergy shot, she told me she had more in need so I agreed to transport again. The shelter deals with ferals Tuesday- Thursday mornings, no appointment needed. Well, a male was attempting to mount this little one so she ran outside and was able to grab her. I am sure she was a drop off and not truly feral. She is so sweet and makes muffins when I pet her. Her cats were all upset and she didn’t have a place to keep her other than the garage and it is still chilly at night so of course I agreed.

I have named her Trouble because she is going to cause me lots of it with my husband. There was also a character on the tv show Grimm named Trouble, although it was spelled differently. I am hoping to someday have a Siamese and a cow kitty, but I will willingly accept any kitty God sends my way and he seems to send me a lot of black ones.

Blog the Change For Animals (#BtC4A)

Blog the Change for Animals (#BtC4A) is a chance for bloggers to write about an animal related cause. I want to write about adopting more than one cat from the shelter.

It breaks my heart when families get torn apart ( people and animal). When I went to adopt Sammy, I did not know he had a sister. As soon as I saw he had a sibling, there was no way I was leaving her behind. I had only brought $70 for his adoption fee and I was already tempting fate adopting him without asking my husband’s input on the matter.

I didn’t ask because I knew he would say no, we already had 13 cats at the time. In matters concerning cats, I find it easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. I ended up paying Sammy’s fee, but leaving him there for the weekend because I did not want Joanie (Meghan, at the time) to be without him. I was also told they had another sibling that had already been adopted which haunts me still. I can’t believe shelters will separate families of cats and that people are willing to adopt just one. They were already 4 years old at the time and were obviously bonded.

These two have given me so much happiness. And my hubby is very close to both of them too.

If you are thinking of adopting a cat, how about adopting a bonded pair? I am sure you will not regret it.

I thought there was a hop for Blog the Change, but I can’t find the information right now so I will add it as soon as I find it.

Sunday Selfies

Hi everyone! I can see why Joanie likes this blankie so much, good thing Mom got her a backup one.

Brody has a comfy spot too. He says there is plenty of room for you Leia.

Sammy is going to a party at Cat Scouts today. He is supposed to wear a hat so he chose this one. I wonder if he is going Wabbit Hunting too?

Tomorrow is H day for The A-Z Blogging Challenge- any guesses on what Mom made?

Happy Easter!

Hi everyone! We are joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop and Rascal and Rocco’s Pet Parade.

And the A-Z Blogging Challenge starts today. Our first creation is a crocheted avocado, well, it is half of an avocado.

Poor Mrs. Potato Head, Gremmie got her with the potato peeler. *

Joanie is very worried about her boyfriend, Simon. He is not feeling well. Please say a prayer for him. You can visit him by clicking here.

We hope all who celebrate have a wonderful Easter.

* April Fool! Gremmie and Mrs. Potato Head are still friends. That was a real potato 🙂
