Penny’s Tips Volume 17

Hi everyone. Before we get started, we ask that you please purr and pray for our friend Minchie, he is not feeling well. You can visit by clicking here.

We are joining Comedy Plus’ Tuesday Fun Blog Hop. This week, I have a tip about hydrangea, actually it is not an actual penny tip. It is an old wives’ tale that planting pennies around hydrangeas will make them turn blue. That is not true.

(Don’t worry, Mom took the photo and then Dad planted this outside).

If you want blue hydrangea, you need to lower your soil’s ph. To do this, you water with 1 Tablespoon of aluminum sulfate in 1 gallon of water, you do this once a month for 3 consecutive months.

I won’t get to do my tips for the next two weeks because Mom has Chewy reviews to do, I don’t know why she has to cut into my day, there are 6 other days.

Did you see where Moo visited last week? If not, click here.

Penny’s Tips Volume 16

Hi everyone! We are joining Comedy Plus’ Tuesday Fun Blog Hop.

My tip today is to use pennies to make a puzzle. We put all these pennies on top of a frame then Mom took a photo and uploaded it to jigsaw planet.

It took Mom 35 minutes to complete the puzzle, I guarantee you that you will beat her time. She is the slowest puzzle doer ever.

Penny’s Tips Volume 14

Hi everyone! I have another tip for you,  this one is good for when you have a lot of pennies. It is also a great use for a sock that lost its mate.

You just fill the sock with pennies, tie the end and put it in the freezer. It makes a great ice pack for when you get injured.

Today is already I day on the A-Z Blogging Challenge.Mom made an icicle, she makes lots of these to put on the bottom branches of the Christmas tree. We love to steal them at night. I think she should spray them with catnip spray.

Emmy is checking it out.

Penny’s Tips Volume 13

Hi everyone! I have an unusual tip, more of a question actually. Mom made these book vases and she thinks they look to plain. I suggested she decorate them with pennies, but she doesn’t want to.

Any better suggestions of how to perk them up?

Millie is modeling Mom’s A-Z Challenge , C creation- coal , she makes these for naughty kitties at Christmas.

Don’t forget to comment on yesterday’s post to enter the giveaway for this catnip mat and socks ( Joanie is not included). Giveaway closes at 10 PM ( EST) April 3rd.

Penny’s Tips Volume 12

Here is a tip for Easter. You can use pennies to fill plastic eggs for an egg hunt instead of candy. This will only work for young kids though, older kids will think you are cheap. I recommend filling them with catnip too 🙂

And remember not to use that fake grass stuff because it is dangerous to us kitties.

Mom said to let you know that if she usually comments on your blog and you haven’t seen a comment from her, please check SPAM. WordPress is being difficult again when she tries to leave comments.

Penny’s Tips Volume 11

Here I am again-three weeks in a row!

Just in case you don’t have the luck of the Irish, I have a tip to help you be lucky. If you find a Penny pick it up and all the day you have good luck. You are welcome to pick me up if you want- please bring treats if you come over 🙂

Mom bought these Lucky Charms for St Patrick’s Day. She only gets them once a year. That is how her and Dad celebrate.I guess that is how the Polish celebrate the day instead of corned beef and cabbage ( Mom and Dad are Polish- I only mean to insult them, no one else).

Penny’s Tips Volume 10

Hi everyone! Here I am two weeks in a row, thank you all for telling mom to give me more posting time.

Notice my tie, do I look like a stock broker? I just found out there are stocks named after me. Penny stocks were stocks valued under $1, but that definition has changed to stocks valued at under $5 per share. They are high risk, but you can make a lot of money.

I am a little insulted because I am worth lots more than $5. I may take a chance with these pennies though and try to turn them into dollars. Anyone else want to take a risk?

Before I go, Mom told me to tell you all about our interview on Supawcute, the new blog by our friend Johnny of PetsOverload. To read it, click here.

Penny’s Tips- Volume 9

Hi everyone! It is about time I got a turn to do my tips.

See this chair. It was wobbly so mom tapes a penny ( not me) to the bottom of one of the legs and now it doesn’t wobble.

Pardon me while I eat my treats. I refused to pose unless I got paid in advance.

Emmy asked me to remind you that you have until 9PM EST on Tuesday to comment on Sunday’s post for a chance to win the Dr. Seuss Giveaway. It is open to all.

Penny’s Tips- Volume 8

Hi everyone! Here I am again, two weeks in a row. Are you bored with me yet?

I have an unusual tip this week, one you have never seen before. Dad’s friend made a bluebird feeder for us and he used a penny in it.

He used a container, the drip catcher of a flower-pot , a wire and a penny.

Can you see the penny, it has a hole drilled in it and the wire goes through it. The bluebird feeder has dead mealworms in it- yuck! They seem to like them though. And I like to watch them.

I hope to see you next week if mom doesn’t push my segment off for something else.
