Thank you Chewy for this beautiful bouquet you sent us in sympathy for Phoebe. They are in the dining room out of reach of kitties.
Hi everyone! Mom had a lot of fun at IKEA yesterday. She bought some curtains with black cats on them. And a weasel for her great-niece, I mean an easel.
Would you believe these were her main reason for wanting to go? They are children’s toys, but she buys them for us. They no longer are listed in the catalog or online so she was thrilled to find them. She bought 9 mice and 2 rats. She said some are for giveaways and I can give one away today. If you want to be entered for a chance to win, tell me in the comment section which color you will choose if you win, they come in white, gray and brown. I will announce the winner on Tuesday.
Remember my lemonade stand that I made with a CHEWY box?(click here)
Joanie was worried that we didn’t have lemonade and I told her it didn’t matter, we would still get stuff for having a lemonade stand. I was right! Look what Chewy sent us because they liked my stand.
Of course, I do all the work and Sammy tried to take the prize. We got 2 packages of treats, lots of catnip toys , including a mouse and a carrot, a wand toy, a burlap bag, a bandana and a magnet for mom’s car. Mom thinks the bag is for her, but I have claimed it as a nice spot to snooze on. Thank you Chewy!!!
I haven’t seen my Grammie since Wednesday, I hope she visits soon. I love her so very much.
I am joining The Cat on My Head’s Sunday Selfie Blog Hop.
Hi everyone! Today we want to tell you about two kinds of treats we recently won.
First off, we won Blue Buffalo Kitty Cravings Chicken Crunchy Cat Treats from Three Chatty Cats. Being that KaTwo will only eat this kind of treat, I let her keep the entire bag ( don’t tell Phoebe).
We also won some Pet Naturals of Vermont Calming Treats from Sweet Purrfections.
They are supposed to help calm an anxious pet during thunderstorms, fireworks or any other stressful event. Joanie didn’t need calming, but she wanted to try one. I also let Sammy, Millie and Penny try them too. They must taste great because they gobbled them up. They did seem calm, but there was nothing stressful happening at the time. I put the rest away to try during the next thunderstorm. It only takes one treat to help, but up to 3 can be given.
Thank you Three Chatty Cats and Sweet Purrfections! Also thanks to Chewy who sponsored both giveaways.
We also want to thank the blog, KittyClism that gave us a Blogger Recognition Award.
I started blogging because I love cats and wanted to share what I have learned about them over the years in the hope of helping other cats. It has now become a big part of my life and I am blessed with the friendship and support of a wonderful group of cat lovers.
Two pieces of advice to new bloggers- comment on other blogs and join Facebook groups for cat lovers( or whatever your blog is about) where you can share your posts.
I can’t pick just 15- if you are reading this then your blog deserves this award too.
We will be having a giveaway tomorrow so please stop by.
Hi everyone. Today is Chewy day, but first we want to offer a moment of silence on the loss of our sweet friend Minko who sadly left his family on Father’s Day. Rest in Peace dear friend.
Here are my three things I am thankful for: I am thankful that the severe storms predicted for Monday were not bad, thankful that we didn’t lose power and thankful that my kitties get to try something from Chewy every month.
*Disclaimer- We were given a bag of Blue Buffalo Kitty Cravings Chicken Crunchy Cat Treats for free in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are our own.
They are only 2 calories each, I guess I will try them. Very tasty!
And I can still fit in my bikini.
Here are the ingredients: Deboned Chicken, Chicken Meal, Brown Rice, Barley, Oatmeal, Peas, Chicken Fat, Natural Flavor, Glucono-Delta-Lactone, Potassium Chloride, Citric Acid, Preserved With Mixed Tocopherols, Oil Of Rosemary.
These must be good, all 13 cats like them. I don’t think that has ever happened.
If you want some, they are $2.79 for a 2 oz. bag. Click here. And don’t forget that Chewy offers free shipping on orders over $49 so why not stock up on all your cats’ favorites.
Hi everyone! It is Chewy Day and we are reviewing Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Sprinkle Capsules Cat Supplements.*
*Disclaimer: We received the Nutramax Cosequin Capsules for free in exchange for a fair review and spreading the word about Chewy.
I decided that these would be perfect for Prancie. We don’t know her exact age, but she has lived with us for 12 years and the vet guessed she was 2 or 3 at the time she arrived. She doesn’t seem to get up on the bureaus like she used to. She gets on the bed because there is a stool there to help her.
Nutramax Cosequin Original Joint Health Sprinkle Capsules Cat Supplements come in capsule form, you just open the capsule and sprinkle it over canned food. They are made with manganese, glucosamine and chondroitin. She seems to like the flavor and finishes her food. It also seems to agree with her tummy, I tried something similar on Spooky years ago and it upset his tummy.
The reviews say that owners noticed improvement after a day, but I didn’t. She has only been using it for 2 weeks and I know from experience when we had a dog, that it usually takes a month to start helping. I am hoping it will improve her mobility, I will keep you posted.
If you have an older cat with arthritis, you might want to give it a try. It is on sale this month for $8.96 for a 30 day supply. Click here
And don’t forget Chewy has free 1-2 day shipping on orders over $49
Hi everyone! Today is Chewy Day and we have a tasty food to tell you about.
*Disclaimer: We received Tiki Cat Canned food free from Chewy in exchange for a fair review and spreading the word about Chewy.
The food is listed as human grade, but I didn’t try it. We had all fish flavors and the main ingredient is the fish like sardines, mackerel and tuna. The cans with mackerel had some larger pieces with skin on it that no one was interested in. Other than that, everyone enjoyed the food. Everyone that had it which is 10 out of 13( KaTwo doesn’t like canned cat food, Joanie can’t hold it down and Sammy is on a special diet).
One problem though, it didn’t love them. Everyone ended up with diarrhea ( sorry). I think it is because I never feed them fish, so if you don’t either, then you may want to try another flavor. If your cat loves fish though, they will love this. It is $11.77/ case of 12. The cans are small at 2.8 oz./each. And Chewy always has speedy shipping and it is free with orders over $49.
Hi everyone! This month we jumped at the chance to try Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Mixers Chicken Formula Freeze- Dried Cat Food Topper. I have been wanting to get my cats on a raw diet , but with 13 cats, buying one would be too expensive and I am too lazy to make my own. I thought this would be a good test to see if they like raw. It was actually hard to tell it is raw because they are freeze-dried, dry being the key word there.
*Disclaimer: We received a bag of this food in exchange for a fair review as part of the Chewy Blogger Outreach Program. All opinions are those of the cats that tasted them.
Everyone liked them except for Penny and KaTwo so we have 11 out of 13 that approved. If you want to try them, they are on sale this month for $11.99/ 6 ounce bag. And Chewy
always has free shipping on orders over $49 so stock up. Click Here to go to Chewy
And the #JHC word is Fall/Autumn. Penny is the perfect colors for Autumn:
Phoebe will announce the eyeball giveaway winner tomorrow, if you want to enter just comment on Sunday’s post.
As much as I would like my cats to eat all canned food, they still insist on some dry. When I saw Chewy was offering a grain-free dry cat food this month, I thought it would be a good choice. As always, Joanie was the first one to investigate.Sammy and Joanie gobbled it right up. Snowball did too. And Phoebe and Prancie too.
Actually, it was a big hit with 13 out of 13 cats liking it. Now Fresh Grain-Free Adult Recipe Dry Cat Food by Petcurean has no grain, gluten or corn. Here is the ingredient list:

Disclaimer notice: We received the food for free from Chewy in exchange for a fair review, but all opinions are our own.
Hi everyone! Today we are finally getting to our ChewyInfluencer post which is over a week late. This month I chose the Kong Cat Scratcher, Incline because I wanted Brody to have something of his own.
He had no interest in it, but Sammy loves it. The minute the Chewy box arrived, Sammy figured it was something for him and Joanie hoped it was a new food to try.
Phoebe, Sammy and Joanie helped me assemble it. It was mostly assembled, we just had to add the mat to the incline. This one is extra special and has a little ball hanging inside that the cats can see from the sides.
Look how talented he is, he can use going up or down. After this, I did give it to Brody, but he didn’t want to use it so it is back downstairs where Sammy monopolizes it. Joanie takes a turn once in a while too:
This is a sturdy scratcher and it is on sale for only $5.79. And don’t forget Chewy offers free shipping on orders over $49 so stock up.

I am also slipping my X in for the A-Z Blogging Challenge so I don’t have to do a separate post. X is for Xander de Hunter, the main character in Jeanne Foguth’s The Sea Purrtector Files which I told you about 2 days ago. Make sure you get your free prequel titled Lattitudes and Cattitiudes if you haven’t yet.
Phoebe will be writing tomorrow- sorry I had to push her off a day to get our Chewy post done.
Hi everyone! We are reviewing Nature’s Variety Instinct Raw Boost Minis Chicken Variety Freeze-Dried Cat Treats.
Disclaimer: We received these free from Chewy in exchange for a fair review. All opinions are our own.
Miss Piggy Joanie loved them. Sammy liked them
Everyone liked them except for Phoebe and KaTwo ( she only eats her dry food). Even Spooky was eating them at first, but right now he changes his mind a lot. We will count him as a like though for 12 out of 14 kitties liking them.
Some may find them too big, but they can be crumbled easily and added to the top of canned food or given as a treat. They are on sale at Chewy for $7.19 for a 2.25 oz. bag.
