We are joining Brian’s Thankful Thursday Blog Hop and Sammy’s Poetry Day.We are thankful for all our friends who read our blog.

Here is our poem to go with this photo-

wishing you were on a boat.
Then you open your eyes
and see that you can improvise.
After a little rest
a lifeboat may come from the west.

And here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for Friday. Mom came up with the first two and Annie of McGuffy’s Reader came up with the second two.

1. My favorite Dr. Seuss book is _________________.

2. The most interesting person I have ever met is ______________.

3. Besides books by Dr. Seuss, my favourite book as a child was                       .

4. Lately, I have been working on                          .

  1. I see Emmy comes from a long line of Queen Esthers! She’s looking good though and very very royal. You did a super job of the poetry challenge this week……..surely there’s a boat out there SOMEWHERE – in life we’re always looking for something to help us right?

    Love and Hugs, Teddy

  2. What gorgeous Queen Esthers! And what a perfect poem. I love the line about improvising, as that is so true for life in general. I look forward to filling in these fill-ins for Dr. Seuss Day!
