Saturday is Art Day

Happy Saturday everyone! Today we are joining in Athena’s Caturday Blog Hop. I used a photo of my beloved KaChoo who passed away 11-27-2010. I went with pho.toΒ again because I was pressed for time and already knew how to use this one.

I used “funny photos” -pawprints frameΒ to edit it. She left pawprints on my heart and her favorite color was blue. It has been almost 4 years and I still think of her every day. I wish I had been blogging back then. The support of all these kitties lovers who understand the connection we have with our cats would have helped. The day she passed was truly the worst of my life and I have lost loved ones, but for some reason this was so much harder.

Thank you to Athena for hosting the blog hop:

Make sure you come back tomorrow for Phoebe’s first fun contest. Have a great day everyone!

  1. The blue pawprints frame Ka-Choo perfectly. It’s good to be able to find old photos that help bring back all the wonderful memories of your special kitty.

  3. I understand. As the momma of Robin, a tiny 5 lb. Tortie who passed and devastated her there human brothers and me…and as the momma of Lady Bianca, aka Admiral Hestorb, whew took what was left of my heart with her. I have Katie Isabella now and I don’t think I could handle it. I hope I go first,

    • It sounds like you suffered a lot of losses already, I can see why you don’t want to again. I have 15 cats and the thought of going through it again and again scares me.

  4. That paw print frame is one of our favorites. We used it in tocktober. So happy to meet KaChoo. Mom says that all kitties leave paw-prints on their human’s hearts, but their are some that seem to embed themselves more deeply than others. Those are our “heart” kitties. We know it was four years ago, but we still send out sympathies. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
