ROAR for Dezizworld

Happy Wednesday everyone! Sammy and Joanie want to thank everyone who came to their party- they had so much fun and feel so loved with so many friends. The winner of the nip mat and crocheted toys is: Marshwood Cottage- Congratulations!

They are especially proud of this card from Sammy of One Spoiled Cat:PILCHBIRTHDAY.jpgThank you Sammy. And Raz’s Rumblers from Cat Scouts had a party for him too: He was late for that party because his Mom is a dummy and couldn’t find the Den- sorry fellow Rumblers. They even made him a cake: What a great group, I am so glad I let him join. Now on to the ROAR of the week:

This week’s ROAR is for a fellow blogger, you probably already know about this, but just in case someone missed it.

Lexi and Dezi of Dezizworld along with their mom have been having a tough year. The apartment they live in was flooded by a broken pipe which caused lots of damages. Their poor Mom has had to fight to get everything repaired which should have been a given after what happened. Things are finally heading in the right direction so it would be nice if Lexi could get some steps as she is 15 and has trouble climbing up on the bed. Their Mom also needs a new chair as that is something that won’t get replaced by her landlord. I made a small donation and if everyone does, she will be sitting pretty- pardon the pun, I couldn’t resist. Here is the link to donate: http://www.youcaring.com/other/righting-a-wrong-help-audra-and-her-two-service-cats/238448

One more thing-for the month of October, we will be showing a photo of one of our kitties costumes from past years ( before we started blogging) to give you ideas for Halloween. Last year Joanie was 50 Shades of Gray:Halloween 2013 034We just got a bunch of paint cards from Lowes.

  2. HAHAHAHAHA on the costume Joanie had last year for Halloween! Love it……and we’re so happy Sammy found his way to the Rumblers Den for his pawty yesterday….we had fun preparing that for him!

    Hugs, Sammy

    • I am sorry Sammy was late to the party, it was all my fault. He had a great time once he got there though and he loved that he didn’t have to share with his sister.

  3. OMC that costume is fantastic!!! VERY creative!!

Raz is so pleased that Sammy made it to the Den for his party. We all had problems figuring out the Scouts site in the beginning. Please let us know if you have any questions or need any help! Raz is always willing to be of help.

    • Joanie says thank you, she may enter the contest at the pet store with that this year. Yes, we hope Dezi and Lexi get lots of greens too.

  4. OMC…Joanie does not look as if she enjoyed her Halloween costume. Thanks for supporting and letting people know about the YouCaring campaign for Dezi and her family. And aren’t cat Scouts the best? Mau loves it. All the Scouts are so thoughtful and caring. Sammy is going to have the time of his life. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

    • Joanie didn’t like that costume as much as some others from years past ( I wwill be posting those this month too). You’re welcome about Dezi, she is such a sweetie that we wanted to help too. Sammy already loves Scouts.

  5. Concatualtions to Marshwood Cottage for being the nip mat winners. Thanks for giving a roar to Dezi and Lexi. They are really wonderful (and Andy is quite fond of Dezi). We loved the 50 shades of Gray costume it is so clever. Our mom has to do virtual costumes because we would not let her put a costume on us.
Love, Cali, Andy, Tater and Shelly (C.A.T.S.)
I sent your mom a pm in Cat Scouts the other day. There should be a number in the upper right hand corner next to your name. If you click on it it should take you to the message.

    • I am glad my kitties let me dress them up because I don’t know how to do virtual costumes. I will check Cat Scouts- thanks for letting me know.

  6. Your Joanie makes my eyes leak as she looks so much like my angel Ms. Phoebe who went to the Bridge in January. Torties and calicos are the sweetest. Your babies are so wonderful and you take such great care of them. Purrs from Clove, Kaspars, & Mom

    • I am sorry for your loss, it is so hard to lose a kitty as they are such a big part of our lives. I would love to see a photo of your Ms. Phoebe. I agree Torties and calicos are the sweetest.
